Conia is the granddaughter of Rev L.C. Almon Pastor of St Paul Baptist Church For All People and the daughter of bassist - Jay Almon of the internationally known musical group The Buckeye Politicians. A native of Columbus , Ohio for 8 years Conia was on the historically black radio station Am 1580 WVKO as an on Air radio personality, producing and hosting, shows like Sunday Sunday Shabach, The Sweet hour of Prayer, The Gospel Express and co-host of The Blazing Hot Praise Top 40 countdown with Nina Taylor. She produced and co-produced many shows at the station The Pastor’ s forum ( Pastor Mike Reeves Sr, Host), The Pastors Wives Forum First Lady Deborah Reeves host), and Project Redeem youth Talk with Mom and Pop Griffin including “The Golden Voice show with Ted Williams and Scott Anthony (producer) . Conia is an accomplished entertainer- singer, actress, writer and theater producer. She has performed in the 48 contiguous United States of America and Off Broadway performing/ starring in the critically acclaimed show “OUR YOUNGBLACK MEN ARE DYING AND NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE” including the national touring company of the same show

She is an accomplished writer, singer, actress, and theater Director and Producer. In 2001 she became a minister and is a former worship Leader for All Nations Church under Apostle Brian Keith Williams and Graduate of The Brian Keith Williams Young Preachers Institute. Conia is member of Hope City House of Prayer under Pastor Brian Michael Williams.
In 2000, Conia developed her own production company/ publishing company Power Source Production. In 2005, Sapphire Inspirations was born which is the publishing house for all of her books and poetry. In 2020,she founded C-Love Works Ministries to use the art as a catalyst for change and ministry. Conia hopes to use her talents to bring hope, clarity and guidance to those who struggle within to find their identity and purpose with love at the foundation of all the work.
